Browsed through the blog of an english friend of mine today, and felt totally ashamed of my lame excuse for a blogging activity recently.
It must be one of the joys of being native - you don't need to waste all your shots in the attempt to build a sophisticated phylological chedeuvre but are more likely to actually convey some meaning with it. Also an audience which posesses the power of understanding (at least in terms of grammar and morfology, sometimes vocabulary)is another. Despite that, on the one hand, this doesn't allow you to take the most credit from your writing skills, on the other hand you don't risk being disposed of as unreadable, thus "making people UNpatient for the end" - or, better, eager to click on the life-saving 'x' button in the upper right corner.
Time for our Daily Pun: Does 'unreadable' equal 'unreasonable'?
I must admit, though, that this all is a most non-sensical and unfounded speculation.
